The Livingston brings two-way map viewing to the timeless Geographic Classics collection... Suitable for any setting, the Livingston is styled with an antique finish die-cast semi-meridian and a walnut finish hardwood base. The 12 inch diameter blue ocean globe features raised relief and accurately detailed cartography which enhances the two-way map view capability. In the standard or non-illuminated view, the Livingston details a view of the physical world in an earth tone color palette. In the illuminated view (shown below), the Livingston superimposes a detailed view of the political world, with individual countries identified in vibrant colors to more easily distinguish political boundaries. The Livingston displays approximately 2,400 place names.
