In the ultimate tribute to traditional craftsmanship, the individual gores are hand applied just as was practiced by the original globe makers. The globe in this composition is an authentic reproduction of a 16th Century Mercator globe. The historically accurate globe is displayed in a carefully balanced classic globe stand.
